We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our Community Midwifery team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As a Medical Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our midwives in delivering exceptional maternity care in a range of community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to our midwives, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with trust policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including midwives, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with trust objectives and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of solutions.
- RM and eligible to practice.
- Evidence of further study and development of professional and academic skills.
- Sound knowledge of recent Government/Professional documents with awareness of implications to service provision.
- Able to demonstrate motivation to maintain professional development.
- Ability to work within acute and primary health care settings.
