Financial Analyst

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in supporting the management team in making informed decisions that drive business stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present annual budgets, management accounts, and future forecasts to senior management and the board of directors.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly reconciliations to support the management accounts.
- Undertake ad-hoc projects and identify process improvements to enhance the finance function's efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support the Finance Business Partner in leading the finance function and deputize for them as required.
- Input financial data into the Housemark system to enable benchmarking with other registered social landlords.
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or equivalent.
- Working towards CCAB, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
Experience:
- Experience of preparing and presenting annual budgets.
- Experience of preparing and presenting management accounts, including inter-company accounts.
- Experience of monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate management accounts.
- Experience of setting up processes, procedures, and contracts.
- Experience of undertaking ad-hoc projects and identifying process improvements.
- Experience of supporting statutory accounts.
