Job Title: Customer Care Co-ordinator- Housing

The role of Customer Service Coordinator requires exceptional customer service skills, strong organisational abilities, and the capacity to resolve problems effectively. Experience in the housing, development, maintenance, or similar industry delivering a customer-led service would be advantageous. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and is fully office-based. The office location is remote, requiring a driving licence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day scheduling of the Customer Service department's workload and coordinate administrative tasks.
  • Make courtesy calls in line with the customer journey.
  • Conduct stock control for Customer Service Operatives' vans.
  • Accurately diagnose defects, prioritise repairs, and arrange appointments for customers.
  • Log all contact with customers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Liaise between customers and contractors to share information appropriately and accurately.
  • Deliver services within the guidance of data protection legislation.
  • Provide a high standard of customer service to all customers through various formats, including phone and email.
  • Establish the nature of defects through intelligent questioning, determine works required, and arrange inspections for complex works.
  • Manage relationships with customers, contractors, and colleagues, ensuring customers are informed.
  • Allocate jobs to the appropriate contractor via the internal system, ensuring effective resolution to meet repair priority targets.
Requirements:
  • Ability to build rapport with customers, colleagues, and sub-contractors.
  • Excellent IT, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Previous experience in the building or property industry preferred.
  • Must have a driving licence.
