Position Overview:
As a Senior .Net Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications utilizing Microsoft technologies. Your role will focus on crafting efficient and scalable solutions that align with organizational goals and industry best practices in software development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Preferred Microsoft technical certification relevant to the supported products.
- Certification in at least one formal development methodology.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in MS .NET, .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server.
- A minimum of six years in Information Technology, with at least five years in a development capacity.
- Familiarity with change and release management processes.
- Proven ability to estimate time, effort, dependencies, and resources for development tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in client-focused service delivery environments.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to design and implement new features based on requirements while supporting time-sensitive production activities.
- Proficient in debugging existing code and resolving issues promptly.
- Demonstrated experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.
- Strong programming skills in C# and familiarity with the .NET framework.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in programming and/or systems analysis.
- Broad understanding of information systems and application architecture standards.
Essential Skill Set:
- ASP.Net, .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, T-SQL, Coding, Stored Procedures, SSAS, SQL Cubes & Dimensions.
- Prior experience with financial reporting, financial systems, and audit processes.
- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent troubleshooting experience.
- Functional knowledge of various Microsoft technologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills.
