The Trust Bank is a pool of staff that provides temporary cover for staff shortages or short-term vacancies. If you work for the trust bank, you tell us when you are available and your availability is then matched with shift requirements across the hospital.

Our Bank operates by booking temporary staff on a flexible basis, giving you the freedom to choose the shifts you work, depending upon availability.

Main Responsibilities

(Completion of Preceptorship is required to be considered for these posts)

  • Have family or other commitments preventing you from working full time or to a set work pattern,
  • Want to keep up your professional skills, or
  • Would like to gain experience in new areas,

Person Specification
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse on NMC Register.
  • Conforms to NMC requirements.
Experience
  • Experience of formulating assessments, planning, co-ordinating, and supporting people within a hospital setting.
  • Experience of providing care and interventions within a health setting or specialist mental health settings.
