Job Summary

Willing Care is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team in the Toddler Room. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education for young children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of nursery practitioners to ensure the effective delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate a wide range of stimulating and age-appropriate activities to support children's development.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents and families, providing regular updates on their child's progress and development.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, conducting risk assessments and adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Support and mentor staff members, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the nursery.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or above.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a nursery setting.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • A passion for working with young children and creating enriching learning experiences.
