Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the coordination of clinical trials and ensure that administrative duties are carried out in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Clinical Trials: Assist in the coordination of clinical trials, ensuring that all trials are managed in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Clinical Trials Regulations.
  • Manage Pharmacy Aspects: Manage all pharmacy aspects of clinical trial studies, including development and implementation of pharmacy procedures, managing files, dealing with sponsors, and the dispensing of trial medication.
  • Administrative Duties: Undertake administrative duties, including receipt, dispensing, accountability, returns, and destruction of clinical trials.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with other members of the pharmacy clinical trials team to develop the clinical trials service in line with Trust strategy and regulatory directives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, hospital experience, clinical trial pharmacy experience, GCP in the last 2 years, and A level or B tech equivalent.
  • Skills: Analytical skills, use of Excel or other software to analyze data, ability to produce reports, and good written and spoken English.
