This role is pivotal in advancing our continuous improvement initiatives across our client base, suppliers, and production facilities.
This unique opportunity offers exposure to a wide array of business processes throughout our product and service offerings, from supplier selection and approval to engagement in all stages of the product lifecycle, including direct interaction with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage a risk-based supplier assessment program aimed at identifying suppliers with significant SHEQ risk profiles.
- Conduct thorough onsite audits and remote assessments to assure stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies, that risk exposures are effectively managed.
- Lead initiatives to address supplier performance issues, ensuring that products and services meet our high standards.
- Engage dynamically with suppliers and internal teams to maintain industry-leading product quality and customer service levels.
- Oversee the defective equipment investigation process, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with Technical Authorities and suppliers to support investigations into defective equipment.
- Assist the Quality & Assurance Manager in resolving technical quality issues and leveraging opportunities for business and SHEQ performance enhancements.
- Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Fully qualified engineer with a background in production, chemical, or manufacturing, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems, particularly ISO 9001.
- Formal auditing qualifications are preferred.
- Proven experience in Continuous Improvement and Project Leadership.
- Strong communication skills with confidence in liaising with clients and suppliers.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
