Job Title: Food Technology Educator

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Bury

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Food Technology Educator to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a Food Technology Educator, you will be responsible for teaching Food Technology to students in a large, over-subscribed school.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Food Technology to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and provide regular feedback
  • Attend departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the Food Technology department
  • Provide support to students and colleagues as needed

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Food Technology in a UK school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training
  • Up-to-date Prevent Awareness training
  • Up-to-date Behaviour Management and FGM training
  • Enhanced Child Barred List DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Minimum of two professional child-related references
