About the Role

As a Sous Chef at Holroyd Howe, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our students. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team and contribute to the success of our contract catering business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement innovative menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our students.
  • Assist the Chef Manager in overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and concepts, taking into account seasonal ingredients and dietary restrictions.
  • Work closely with the catering team to deliver special events and themed dinners, ensuring that every detail is executed to perfection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Support the Chef Manager in administrative tasks, such as scheduling and budgeting.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and culinary techniques, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
