About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our Solent Office Audit Team at Menzies LLP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit teams to ensure high-quality audit planning, execution, and completion.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and other assignments as required.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate key risks associated with audits.
  • Contribute to business development and growth initiatives.
  • Supervise and develop trainees to ensure their professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified or part-qualified accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, Irish Institute, or equivalent international qualification).
  • Recent experience in Audit and Assurance within an accountancy practice.
  • Experience of leading external audit assignments from planning to completion stages under International Standards on Auditing.
  • Experience of preparing accounts in accordance with UK GAAP.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office suite.
