Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer

Salary: £40,000 to £50,000

Location: Greater London

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Performing scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks within their area of expertise as assigned by the Scheduler or relevant manager.
  • Executing gas and plumbing refurbishment tasks, including conducting tests upon completion.
  • Ordering necessary parts through purchase orders.
  • Managing inventory within the service vehicle as needed.
  • Participating in the on-call rotation as required.
  • Offering recommendations and solutions to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Taking measurements, estimating labor, and identifying material needs for subsequent work through the reporting system.
Requirements:
  • Essential qualifications in Domestic & Commercial Gas ACS.
  • Basic proficiency in technology, including email and the use of tablets for internal systems.
  • A valid driving license is essential.
  • A solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and practices is essential.
  • Capability to work at heights.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Availability for emergency call-outs during evenings, weekends, and holidays on a rotational basis.
