HSS Advisor

Statkraft is seeking a highly skilled HSS Advisor to join our team. As an HSS Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and security of our employees, contractors, and the public.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide HSS advice and guidance to project managers and teams on all aspects of health, safety, and security.
- Develop and implement effective HSS strategies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular HSS audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure HSS standards are met.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and deliver HSS training programs to ensure employees are aware of their responsibilities and roles in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure HSS is integrated into all aspects of the business.
- University degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, health and safety, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in a health, safety, and security role, preferably in an industrial or construction environment.
- IOSH and NEBOSH certifications.
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and UK HSS legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
