Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join our team as a Lead Educator at Bright Horizons Manchester Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our nursery team, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and inspiring a team to deliver exceptional care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Early Years professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging learning programs that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, healthy, and stimulating, with a focus on promoting child welfare and protection.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage and other relevant legislation.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working in an Early Years setting, ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, or similar.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and relevant legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
