Job Description

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join their permanent staff list from September 2024.

Role and Responsibilities

The EYFS Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Developing and implementing engaging and effective lessons that cater to the needs of young learners.
  • Classroom Environment: Creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
  • Pupil Progress: Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child achieves their potential.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic development of children.
  • School Ethos: Contributing to the school's ethos and values, promoting a positive and inclusive culture.
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent EYFS teaching qualification.
  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Supportive Environment: Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
