We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Commission Management: Manage commissions of varying sizes, ensuring that client objectives are met through effective cost management.
- Cost Planning and Estimating: Assist in feasibility studies, write procurement reports, estimate and cost plan, and produce and present final cost plans.
- Tendering and Procurement: Manage the pre-qualification stage, produce tender lists, produce preliminaries, tender analysis, and compile contractual documents.
- Contract Administration: Conduct contract administration, deal with post-contract cost variances, and manage change control processes.
- Financial Reporting: Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients.
- Negotiation and Agreement: Negotiate and agree final accounts with clients.
- Client Interface: Interface with clients, project managers, and other consultants at all project stages.
- Team Leadership: Lead a cost management team, ensuring they deliver on all accountabilities.
- Process Improvement: Identify ways to improve cost management procedures, templates, and products.
- Professional Qualifications: Professionally qualified (RICS or similar) and degree or HNC level qualification.
- Experience and Skills: Proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle.
- Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, able to work with autonomy, and highly organized with ability to prioritize workload.
