About the Role

Vital Heating Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Dynamics Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in delivering BMS energy savings initiatives and contributing to our mission of creating cost-effective, low-carbon energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Implementation: Work closely with our team to design, deliver, and verify BMS energy conservation initiatives, ensuring they meet the agreed design specifications within timeframe and budget.
  2. BMS Optimization: Conduct detailed surveys of BMS and controlled HVAC equipment to identify energy conservation opportunities, assess baseline performance, and collect existing BMS logs or set up new logging as applicable.
  3. Collaboration with Sub-Contractors: Work closely with our BMS sub-contractor supply chain to design and cost BMS energy savings initiatives, create, review, and seek client approval of BMS reviewable design data, and ensure projects are delivered to specification.
  4. Commissioning and Verification: Support the commissioning, witness testing, and handover of delivered BMS energy savings initiatives, and measure and verify guaranteed energy savings.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 1 year of software engineering experience, with a strong background in BMS and HVAC control strategy design and operation.
  2. Skills: In-depth knowledge of BMS and HVAC control strategy design and operation, experience delivering BMS projects through BMS sub-contractor supply chain, and experience integrating HVAC plant into BMS with a good working knowledge of common high-level networks such as BACnet, Modbus, MBus.
  3. Competencies: Highly motivated with good communication skills, good at problem solving with a focused attention to detail, passionate and takes pride in their work, flexible approach to managing workload with the ability to work to deadlines, and able to work effectively as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

  • Competitive Salary: £38,605.00-£42,026.00 per year
  • Flexible Working Arrangements: This is a remote role that offers a balance of home-based working with travel to project sites and travel to our office in Read, Burnley.
