Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part Time Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant with Home Instead, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility
  • Assist clients with their daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals and snacks, as needed
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist clients with their mobility, including transfers and ambulation
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the care team

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care and support work, preferably in a home care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle, for most roles
  • Authorisation to live and work in the UK
