Prospero Teaching is seeking experienced educators to deliver tailored, 1:1 tuition packages to young people in need of support. As an Outreach Tutor, you will create and implement bespoke lesson plans to bridge educational gaps and foster engagement and attainment.

The Opportunity

Working closely with Prospero Teaching, you will re-engage pupils in their learning, providing structure and support to help them reintegrate into education. Your role will involve:

• Delivering 1:1 tailored lessons to meet individual needs
• Creating and implementing effective lesson plans
• Monitoring pupil progression and adjusting strategies as needed
• Collaborating with Prospero Teaching to ensure effective learning outcomes

Contract Details:

• Location: Within the community or pupils' homes
• Position: 1:1 Outreach Tutor
• Type of work: Contract
• Duration: Until pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement
• Contract type: Temporary
• Full-time/part-time: Part-time (15 hours per week, per student)
• Minimum rate of pay: £22+ per hour

Requirements:

• Experience in education or a related field
• Ability to create and deliver bespoke lesson plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
