About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team at Lookers Glasgow North Land Rover. As a key member of our Service team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle health checks using the latest technology and diagnostic tools.
- Perform vehicle services in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and customer requests.
- Carry out additional repairs as authorized by the customer, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Conduct road tests to ensure all faults are rectified and complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
- Work collaboratively with the Service Manager and other technicians to ensure seamless workflow and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Motor industry experience, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- A full and valid UK driving license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A self-motivated and ambitious individual, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.
