About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Hereford. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, working closely with senior team members.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the delivery of audit assignments, including planning, execution, and completion.
  • Working on audits ranging from £5m to £50m, as well as some overseas audit clients.
  • Reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax computations, and returns.
  • Preparing reports to be presented by Directors during client meetings.
  • Supporting junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing.
  • Liaising directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries.
  • Working to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines.
  • Promoting services to existing and prospective clients.
  • Championing your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team.
  • Supporting the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed.

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for an ACCA or ACA qualified candidate, finalist or studying, with previous experience within practice. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Sound IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • A self-motivated and reliable approach.
  • A strong work ethic, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team.
  • A proactive problem-solving approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • The ability to work confidently with senior team members.
