Safety Case Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Case Engineer to join our team at First Recruitment Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, reviewing, and submitting Offshore Safety Cases (SC) and Onshore COMAH Safety Reports (CSR) to support business-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and submit Safety Case/CSR documentation to regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain hazard management and QRA data.
  • Facilitate Safety Case/CSR updates for planned operational work.
  • Engage with stakeholders, workforce, and verification bodies for Safety Case/CSR updates.
  • Support QSHE team commitments and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee Safety Case/CSR review process and maintain supporting documents.
Requirements:
  • Higher technical qualification, preferably in engineering or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years with Offshore UKCS Oil and Gas Operators, top-tier COMAH sites, or the Competent Authority.
  • In-depth knowledge of Safety Case and COMAH regulations, and supporting legislation (PFEER, DSEAR, PSR, etc.).
  • Experience in writing and developing QRA and Safety Cases reports.
  • Knowledge of planning, cost control, and document management.
