Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI Programmer to join our team at Rockstar Dundee. As a key member of our UI team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing world-class user interfaces that enhance the gaming experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-performance UI features using C++ and low-level coding techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and design work, and implement solutions that meet project goals.
  • Work closely with UI team members and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality UI features and tools.
  • Provide regular updates and time estimates for projects using bug tracking software and other communication tools.
  • Assist team members with their work and take ownership of critical issues that arise.
  • Participate in code reviews and discussions to contribute technical expertise and ensure high-quality code.

Requirements

  • 2+ published AAA console titles.
  • Degree in software engineering, mathematics, or computer science.

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in C++ and low-level, high-performance coding.
  • Experience with code design patterns, including OOP, MVVM, and MVC programming.
  • Familiarity with UI development challenges and tools used in day-to-day game development.
  • Familiarity with major console tools and SDKs.

This is a full-time, permanent position based out of Rockstar Dundee's game development studio. As a Senior UI Programmer, you will have the opportunity to work on some of the most creatively rewarding and ambitious projects in the industry.
