Job Title:
Air Conditioning Engineer

Location:
Stockton-on-Tees|Barnard Castle|Seaham|Hartlepool

Salary:
Up to £38,000 per annum

Working Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

On-call Duty:
1 in 6

Overtime Compensation:
Time and a half pay, Double pay on Sundays
Annual Leave:
33 days including bank holidays

Pension Scheme:

Qualifications and Experience:
Demonstrated expertise as an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineer, ideally in commercial settings.
Relevant certifications in air conditioning and refrigeration (e.g., City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent).
In-depth understanding of various air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chiller units.
Proficient in diagnosing and rectifying faults efficiently, ensuring systems operate effectively and are energy-efficient.
Valid UK driving licence required.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertinent to air conditioning maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on a variety of air conditioning and refrigeration systems within commercial environments.
2. Conduct routine inspections, identify faults, and perform necessary repairs to maintain optimal system performance.
3. Respond swiftly and effectively to urgent maintenance requests, minimizing downtime and addressing critical issues.
4. Collaborate with colleagues and clients to arrange maintenance visits and communicate outcomes effectively.
5. Maintain precise records of work performed, including maintenance reports, service logs, and inventory management.
6. Stay informed about industry developments, regulations, and technological advancements in air conditioning systems.
