We are seeking an Area Supervisor to join our national retail and online client. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Area Manager to support the achievement of business goals, develop high-performing shop teams, and ensure full compliance with operational objectives.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a multi-site role, working across a large geographical area and learning all aspects of Area Management under the guidance of a strong regional leader.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the successful performance of new shops.
  • Oversee daily operations across shops, maintaining high retail standards and operational practices.
  • Conduct regular audits on Retail Standards, Security, and Compliance in allocated shops.
  • Ensure effective communication of key messages to shop teams and oversee their implementation.
  • Liaise with head office departments to resolve operational challenges and enhance performance.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a multi-site role, ideally within retail or experience of being responsible for a larger store format.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead diverse teams.
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities, develop strategies, and stay informed on market trends.
  • Commitment to standardized procedures, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Clear and effective communicator, with strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Focused on achieving high standards and driving continuous improvement in performance metrics.
  • Must have a driver's licence and be mobile to travel in the region.
