SARVAL is seeking a skilled Ingredients Storage Operative to join our Operations department at our Colsterworth site. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and maintain the storage facility operations, ensuring the intake, handling, and dispatching of products are carried out efficiently.
- Operate plant and machinery to manage stock rotation, receipt, and dispatch of products, including the weighbridge function.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are met within the workplace for SARVAL and all 3rd party staff.
- Follow instructions to prepare products for dispatch as scheduled.
- Perform basic administrative tasks and maintain accurate stock control records.
- Collect samples for analysis at internal and external laboratories.
- Assist in maintaining accurate and auditable stock control records.
- Undertake general housekeeping duties and ensure the premises are secure at all times.
- Comply with pest control regulations and adhere to Working Standards.
- Liaise with the Storage Coordinator and internal/external contacts as required.
- Previous experience in manual/labor-intensive positions is essential.
- Good formal education.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Flexible, hardworking, and able to work independently.
- Previous experience with administrative duties is advantageous.
- Hold a full driving license.
