About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at Id Product. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Lead the design and engineering phases of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  2. Design Development: Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  3. Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, project managers, and contractors to achieve project goals.
  4. Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Site Visits and Inspections: Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design integrity and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
  6. Project Planning and Risk Management: Participate in project planning, risk assessment, and value engineering exercises to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  7. Quality and Safety: Ensure projects are delivered with high standards of safety and quality, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  8. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  2. Professional Certification: Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
  3. Industry Experience: Experience in structural design engineering within the Civil Engineering industry.
  4. Design Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro).
  5. Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  7. Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
