Job Summary
The Women's Project Supervisor role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for maintaining, developing, and expanding services to support vulnerable women. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Services Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Services Manager in the day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring seamless service delivery and effective management of resources.
- Provide line management to the Women's Project Worker team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand services, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in support work, with a focus on engaging individuals in self-development opportunities.
- Experience in supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs, promoting positive change and empowerment.
- Knowledge of substance misuse, mental health, and social exclusion issues, with a commitment to addressing these challenges.
- Experience in delivering advice, guidance, and employability support, with a focus on promoting independence.
- Knowledge of local volunteering and informal learning opportunities, with a commitment to promoting community engagement.
- Experience in managing projects, providing opportunities for placements and personal development.
- Experience in volunteering and supporting vulnerable individuals to volunteer.
Skills and Qualifications
- Effective IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong coordination and organizational skills, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
- A constructive, flexible, and positive approach towards working with vulnerable individuals.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
