Job Summary

The Women's Project Supervisor role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for maintaining, developing, and expanding services to support vulnerable women. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Services Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Services Manager in the day-to-day running of the centre, ensuring seamless service delivery and effective management of resources.
  • Provide line management to the Women's Project Worker team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand services, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in support work, with a focus on engaging individuals in self-development opportunities.
  • Experience in supporting vulnerable individuals with complex needs, promoting positive change and empowerment.
  • Knowledge of substance misuse, mental health, and social exclusion issues, with a commitment to addressing these challenges.
  • Experience in delivering advice, guidance, and employability support, with a focus on promoting independence.
  • Knowledge of local volunteering and informal learning opportunities, with a commitment to promoting community engagement.
  • Experience in managing projects, providing opportunities for placements and personal development.
  • Experience in volunteering and supporting vulnerable individuals to volunteer.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Effective IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong coordination and organizational skills, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects.
  • A constructive, flexible, and positive approach towards working with vulnerable individuals.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required.
