Supply Teacher Opportunity

Step Teachers is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Supply Teacher to join our team in the Norfolk area. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of education and maintaining a positive learning environment for students without their regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively to facilitate student learning and achievement.
  • Maintain a well-organized and respectful classroom environment, promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the school day and support the school's goals.
  • Provide constructive feedback to regular teaching staff on students' progress and development.
  • Adhere to school policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Teacher or Classroom Teacher, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and school staff.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different schools and year groups, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new environments.
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo checks.
