About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Officer to join our team at Hewett Academy. As a Behaviour Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Reflection Room and supporting students in developing positive behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in the Reflection Room, ensuring a calm and productive environment.
  • Meet with parents to discuss student behaviour and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Support students in developing their behaviours for learning and improving their attitude towards staff and peers.
  • Contribute to and monitor the school's internal exclusion records, identifying patterns and alerting staff to any concerns.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish good relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Confidence in communicating with a range of stakeholders.
  • Top-quality organisational skills.
