Environmental Sustainability Role

NSB Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability specialist to join their team in Cardiff. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the management and implementation of environmental programmes, ensuring effective communication and continual improvements in sustainability.

This exciting opportunity is with a leading player in the environmental sustainability sector, who are committed to making a positive impact on the environment. You will be part of a team that collaborates with various specialists and stakeholders, providing a comprehensive approach to environmental management.

The role offers flexibility with options to work remotely and from the Cardiff office. You will need a valid driving license and be happy to travel to clients' sites/offices across the UK as required.

As a Sustainability Consultant, you will lead the drafting of communications, tracking actions, supporting audits, and reviewing evidence. Your role will be crucial in engaging with operational stakeholders, assessing environmental aspects, and assisting in the operation of ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 standard management systems.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in environmental sustainability, self-directed research, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently is essential. Knowledge of environmental standards and auditing is desirable.
