We are seeking an experienced Senior Nurse to join our team at HMP Swaleside, working with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality primary care services and specialist interventions for offenders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care services to offenders, including health assessments, medication management, and health education.
- Develop and implement specialist interventions to address the health needs of offenders, including mental health and substance misuse services.
- Support junior colleagues and assist team managers in delivering a nurse-led integrated primary care service.
- Contribute to the development of a specialist practice-based clinical model of care.
Requirements:
- Professional nursing qualification (i.e. RN Degree)
- NMC registration
- Previous nursing experience (newly qualified nurses will be considered)
