We are seeking a highly organized and passionate Clinical Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in running our care home. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning staff rotas, recruiting new team members, and managing their training. They will also monitor staff performance to maintain high standards and address any issues as needed.
The care home provides a range of care services, including dementia, older person care, physical disability, and respite care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to promoting and developing high standards of care and will have experience in a senior or team leader nursing role in elderly care.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and implementing staff rotas to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Recruiting and training new team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge
- Monitoring staff performance and providing feedback and support as needed
- Managing staff conflicts and addressing any issues that may arise
- Working closely with the Home Manager to develop and implement care plans
The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with an active NMC PIN and a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent). They will be committed to delivering high-quality care and will have excellent communication and leadership skills.
