Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance resources to deliver excellence in plant reliability while meeting safety, health, environmental, and financial targets.
  • Enforce safe operations and maintain environmental compliance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the mechanical maintenance plan.
  • Collaborate with the Planning Department to ensure suitable parts, labor, and equipment are available to deliver the maintenance plan.
  • Ensure inspection results and actions are taken to deliver reliability targets.
  • Coordinate deployment of labor, parts, and equipment resources.
  • Manage the section mechanical team concerning productivity, motivation, and discipline.
  • Monitor performance of own staff and contractors and ensure jobs proceed to plan.
Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship or NVQ equivalent or National Certificate (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 years' experience in Mechanical Coordinator/Maintenance Team Lead role.
