Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled HGV/LGV Class 1 Tanker Driver to join our dedicated team at Menzies Distribution. This role involves providing exceptional service while transporting products across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the delivery and collection of goods on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited.
- Perform general driving duties while adhering to legal regulations and best practices.
- Utilize electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems and modern technology (training provided).
- Assist with loading and unloading as required.
- Be prepared for occasional weekend and bank holiday work.
Shift Information:
- Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
- Salary: £47, including nights out
- Weekly Hours: 60
- Holiday Entitlement: 28 days per year, inclusive of bank holidays
- Monthly Pay with Onsite Parking
Driver Requirements:
- Valid UK C+E licence with a minimum of 12 months Class 1 driving experience.
- Essential previous experience in bulk tanker tipping using pump and/or compressor.
- No more than 6 penalty points on your driving licence.
- No prior disqualifications.
- Strong understanding of driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
