We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Specialist to join our team at an outstanding primary school in Hackney. The successful candidate will have a passion for supporting pupils with Autism and a drive to make a positive impact.
The school has a specialist SEN unit on site and a small team of experienced staff who work closely together to provide high-quality support to students. As a SEN Specialist, you will be working alongside the Assistant Headteachers and SENCO to develop and implement strategies to support pupils with Autism.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified primary teacher with UK QTS and experience working with students with Autism. You will have strong communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a large team. The school offers a supportive and welcoming environment, with plenty of opportunities for professional development and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with Autism in a mainstream primary school setting
- Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with Autism
- Work closely with the Assistant Headteachers and SENCO to develop and implement school policies

Requirements:
- UK Qualified Teacher Status
- Primary teaching experience with a focus on SEN and Autism
