Company & Project:
A leading main contractor operating across multiple sectors, including commercial, education, higher education, residential, mixed-use, and healthcare, is seeking an experienced and effective Project Manager to join their Construction Management team in Suffolk.
The company has an established reputation in the regional main contracting market and is looking for a candidate to complement their team, covering sites in Suffolk and North Essex.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for overseeing one technically complex project initially, working closely with the pre-construction team to manage the project ahead of starting on site, liaising with site delivery teams throughout the project to oversee the project to completion.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, design, and contract administration on the project on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee the project to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, to a high quality, and with excellent standards of Health and Safety.
- Work closely with the pre-construction team to manage the project ahead of starting on site.
- Liaise with site delivery teams throughout the project.
Desirable Experience:
- Previously held a Project Manager role with a Main Contractor.
- Previous experience leading projects c£5m+.
- Exceptional client-facing and management skills, experience in leading teams of c15 staff.
- Ideally from a Site Management or Engineering background or Trade background.
