Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Repair Engineer to join our team at Ateeca.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop repair solutions for inservice aircraft events or manufacturing non-conformities.
  • Creation of repair/design approval sheets and providing aircraft repair, modification, and maintenance solutions.
  • Analyze non-conformities and propose change requests.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide suitable solutions.
  • Prepare daily governance reports to showcase delivery schedules versus targets.
  • Shoulder delivery responsibility for the team, including training, new requirements, and quality check activities.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Mechanical or Aerospace engineer with experience in design within the Repair Engineering field.
  • Experience in Aircraft repair and mechanical design for metallic airframe structures.
  • Understanding of SRM, repair documents, and drawings.
  • Experience in creating repair disposition, repair instruction, and 2D drawing creation.
  • Able to define mechanical design schemes to achieve project requirements.
  • Aircraft Design Principles with configuration management skills.
  • Able to interface between supplier and customer.
  • Good communication and planning skills.
  • Broad understanding of Stress Engineering as applicable to Repair Design.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and PLM applications (Windchill).
Preferred Qualifications

Aerospace domain experience is preferred.
