About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Mandarin Teacher to join our team at a high-performing secondary school in the North Leeds area. As a Mandarin Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and educating students, helping them appreciate the richness of Mandarin culture and language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality Mandarin lessons that cater to the needs of all learners.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the language curriculum.
  • Engage with parents and the community to promote language learning.

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
  • A strong command of the Mandarin language.
  • Previous teaching experience in a secondary school setting is ideal.
  • A passion for language education and cultural exchange.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
