Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled driver with a good understanding of tacho laws and regulations to work with a leading waste management business. The ideal candidate will have a good experience of HGV Class 2 driving and be happy to perform manual labor when necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles to collect and transport waste
  • Perform manual handling and moving bins when necessary
  • Complete daily paperwork and vehicle checks
  • Work in various departments, including Recycling and Garden Waste

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in HGV Class 2 driving
  • Good knowledge of tacho laws and regulations
  • Happy to perform manual labor when necessary

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay rates, including £15.25 basic, £22.88 overtime, and £30.50 Sunday and Bank Holiday
  • Temporary contract with potential for permanent position after qualifying period
  • Ad hoc and ongoing shifts available with immediate assessments
