Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeper to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our residential care home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook healthy meals for residents, taking into account individual dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including the kitchen and bathrooms, at all times.
- Liaise with management and staff to ensure daily chores are completed and maintenance issues are reported in a timely manner.
- Use your initiative to identify areas that require cleaning and take action to address them.
- Carry out deep cleans in the building as required or requested by management.
- Ensure the safeguarding of residents at all times, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Work in accordance with CareTech Group's vision and aims, and comply with Health and Safety requirements and Company policies.
- Undertake other duties as required by management, commensurate with the level of responsibility.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential care setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
