Job Title: Audit Senior - Financial Services Expert

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior to join our dynamic audit team at Reed. The Audit Senior will play a key role in planning and executing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and providing valuable insights to our clients in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans, identifying areas of high risk and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Perform detailed audit testing and document findings, providing clear and concise recommendations for improvement.
  • Review and evaluate internal controls and financial reporting systems, ensuring they are operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Prepare audit reports and present findings to senior management and clients, providing clear and concise recommendations for improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and growth.
  • Stay updated on changes in auditing standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing expert advice to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of audit methodologies and procedures, ensuring they are effective and efficient.
  • Participate in special projects and ad-hoc assignments as needed, providing expertise and support to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Must be either ACCA or ACA Qualified.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in auditing, preferably in an accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
