About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our team as an Associate Transport Planner. As a key member of our transport planning team, you will be responsible for leading small to medium-sized projects from inception to completion, as well as being heavily involved in larger-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead small to medium-sized projects from inception to completion, including project planning, coordination, and delivery.
- Contribute to the development of transport planning strategies and policies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other transport planners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and local authorities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior transport planners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and emerging trends in transport planning.
Requirements:
- At least four to five years' experience as a Transport Planner in either the public or private sectors.
- Knowledge/experience of relevant software packages, including TEMPro, ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig, TRICS, and Excel.
- Masters Degree in Transport Planning (desirable but not essential).
- Member of a relevant professional body, such as CIHT or CILT (desirable but not essential).
- Full clean driving licence.
