This role is ideal for someone with solid technical skills looking to transition into a rapidly expanding publishing firm within the business compliance sector.

Role Overview

The editor will be tasked with editing and processing content provided by both internal and external authors, as well as compiling weekly eAlerts.

In collaboration with the Content teams, the editor will ensure that content is accurately tagged and thoroughly checked to facilitate efficient processing through the content management system.

The editor will also be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards for published materials and identifying areas for improvement.


The team seeks an individual who is tech-savvy and can adeptly manipulate content using XML-based editing software within a content management system.

Key Responsibilities


- Utilize editing software to tag content according to author/development editor/content manager guidelines, ensuring proper processing in the content management system for online publication.
- Review content for spelling, grammar, and editorial inaccuracies, adhering to the company's established style guide.
- Monitor the quality of published content to ensure it meets expectations.
- Compile weekly eAlerts for distribution to subscribers.
- Continuously assess progress against schedules and prioritize tasks accordingly, collaborating with colleagues as needed.

- Provide regular feedback to the editorial manager and development editors regarding submitted content to ensure consistency in the editorial approach and implement necessary improvements.
