About the Role

Pertemps TM is seeking an experienced Civil Technician to join our team in Exeter. As a Civil CAD Technician, you will be responsible for producing detailed infrastructure drawings and models, liaising with clients and contractors, and attending design team meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop infrastructure projects, including highways and drainage systems
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure project requirements are met
  • Participate in design team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges
  • Learn and utilize cutting-edge BIM software, such as Civils 3d and microdrainage
  • Work closely with Senior Engineers to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Mentor junior team members and distribute work accordingly
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of construction principles and practices
  • Extensive experience in drainage design and highway design
  • Proficiency in producing flood risk assessments
  • Strong knowledge of the design process and design office experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Proactive and able to work independently
