NHS Highland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a part-time Locum Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to provide clinical leadership within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The successful applicant will work alongside the Clinical Leads for CAMHS and other senior members of the team to deliver high-quality clinical care and promote a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approach to the delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership within the CAMHS team
  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents
  • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Leads for CAMHS and other senior team members
  • Develop and implement effective care plans
  • Contribute to the development of the CAMHS service

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Registration with the General Medical Council
  • Experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team

Working Arrangements:

This is a part-time position, working up to 0.5 WTE (5 sessions per week). The post will be based within the Helensburgh CAMHS Clinic, with opportunities to work across Argyll and Bute. We are open to part-time and job share applications.

Salary:

The salary for this position is £96,963 - £128,841 per annum pro rata.
