About the Role
As a Nurse Functional Assessor, you will play a vital role in helping people move forward with their lives by conducting assessments to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will use your clinical skills to produce a factual report to help the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) determine their eligibility for benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telephone, video, or face-to-face assessments to gather information about a person's condition and its impact on their daily life.
- Use your clinical expertise to produce a comprehensive report that highlights the person's strengths and challenges.
- Work collaboratively with the DWP to ensure that the report is accurate and meets their requirements.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the DWP's processes and procedures to ensure that you are providing the best possible service.
