About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our Warehouse team at Master of Malt. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for safely operating a forklift to assist with loading and unloading vehicles and the movement of drinks stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift to move stock around the warehouse
  • Load and unload vehicles with drinks stock
  • Verify the identity of goods in and ensure they are transported to the right area of the warehouse
  • Ensure all relative policies are followed for each job performed
  • Engage and motivate others through excellent communication and coaching
  • Manage inbound, outbound, and onsite stock movements in line with quality, warehouse, and compliance policies
  • Carry out underbond quality control checks on products arriving, being stored, and dispatched from site
  • Report all non-conformities to the line manager
  • Work collaboratively with the broader Warehouse leadership teams and other departments in the business

Requirements:

  • Experience within a Warehouse environment, operating a forklift and with applicable license
  • Excellent level of manual dexterity
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good level of written and spoken communication, including the ability to communicate clearly with a diverse team of people
  • Good basic understanding of IT, including some experience with Google or Microsoft software suites
  • Strong team working and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational skills and effective use of time
