We are seeking a skilled Dustcart Driver to join our client's team, who operates a recycling and waste collection company serving over 1,000 businesses within the M25 area.

About The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting waste and recyclables in a safe and efficient manner. If you have experience as a Dustcart Driver and possess excellent driving skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate dustcart vehicles to designated locations
  • Collect refuse and recyclables from requested locations and dispose of at the appropriate waste collection sites
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Collect general waste, dry mixed recycling, glass, cardboard, food, and construction waste
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
  • Provide excellent customer service during collection

Requirements:

  • Valid UK Driving License with CPC and Tacho card
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
  • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
  • Ability to drive flatbed vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Good communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Driving experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certifications:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
  • Driver CPC (preferred)
