The Role:

As the Lead Mixologist, you will be instrumental in overseeing all operations of our bars, which includes designing unique beverage menus for our guests, managing bar staff and inventory, and ensuring that our exceptional service levels are upheld.

Your Responsibilities:
- Craft and curate an innovative and exciting beverage menu that reflects current trends and caters to our diverse clientele.
- Deliver personalized service to guests, recommend drink selections, and ensure a memorable experience.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to maintain cost efficiency.
- Prepare high-quality cocktails, including creating pre-batched drinks, house-made syrups, infusions, and garnishes.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the bar area, complying with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Lead and inspire the bar team, ensuring a cohesive and efficient work environment. Provide training and mentorship to uphold high standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar's cellar, ensuring optimal storage conditions for all beverages, including changing barrels and pipe cleaning.
Personal Specification:
Essentials:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the bar or hospitality sector.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Desirables:
- Experience managing high-volume service.
- Food Safety Training.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
Shift Pattern:
- Full-time contract.
- 5 days a week/40 hours.
- Flexibility is essential as you will be expected to work as needed to meet the demands of the team and business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
